☆ABOUT US☆
We are a family of four without any pets living in a historical place, Kashihara, Nara Japan. (Our city is the very first capital of Japan, located approx. 35-50min away from Nara city by train.
-35 mins from Unebi Station to Nara Station by JR train
-37〜50mins from Yamato Yagi Station to Kintetsu Nara Station by Kintetsu train
-Approx. 50 min-drive to Nara Park

Currently both of my daughter and son are living with us.
My husband is the one who cooks when he is home, loves playing games, and watching Netflix and TikTok.
When he's home, he chills on the couch or the floor because whenever he goes to work, he works for 24 hours.

My daughter is 24.
She teaches English online.
She loves music, dancing, driving...most importantly, she loves to EAT!! Ha-ha :)

My son is a year younger than her.
They get along well.
He just graduated from university and has been looking for a job while working part time job hardly.

I consider myself an extrovert, I am easy to get along with most of the people.

I have more free time than before so
I'd love to spend some time with the CSers, chitchatting, cooking, and even exploring if my schedule fits yours.

We are very looking forward to meeting nice travelers from all over the world and having fun learning new things!

PHILOSOPHY
I believe that it's important for me to appreciate whatever I'm given, whomever I'm meant to meet.
My favorite proverb is "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade."

One of the visitors who stayed with us from another homestay program introduced me to this amazing site!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have enough experiences of hosting/surfing to say we enjoy CS!
We've hosted over 150 visitors includes CSers and others from other home stay programs.
I also have surfed with my kids at several families in Australia when they were little.

My daughter and I have Couch surfed in Indonesia and South Korea recently.

I like any kinds of music, but just don't have enough time to enjoy listening to music lately.
We usually play my daughter's favorite songs when we drive.
I love watching Korean soap operas.
My husband enjoys watching western movies especially action movies.

Amazing things I've seen or done...
Ummmm, I have taken an operation because of a mosquito bite!!
The doctor was even surprised with seeing how the blood was spraying out from the bite!!

We all speak English fairy well except my husband (especially my daughter does),
so we would love to share various things, we can learn something new from you and vice versa.

My daughter and I can communicate in Korean as well. She also has been learning Spanish.
