ABOUT ME

I am very much a product of my environment. Growing up on this little island in the middle of the ocean has shaped me into an easy-going and open-minded individual. My Zen includes being out on the water with a cold beer in my hand.

I love to go bike riding and long boarding around town, but mostly just walk. Time slows down when you walk and all the sights and smells and sounds hit you pretty hard. I LOVE to drive my boat into the middle of nowhere (and fish). I am very close to my family and have a beautiful circle of friends. I would describe myself as an introvert but I do like meeting new people and conversing- just not with 20 people all at once. I love going to music festivals and cooking food for hungry people- food tastes so much better when your really hungry :-) I have a cat who thinks he's a dog and I like to paint art on canvases and pretend to know what I'm doing by calling it "abstract." Traveling makes me feel most alive and I am a terribly good listener.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and been the surfer! Sometimes it's electric and other times a bit weird but you never know the experience your going to have and that risk of excitement is what keeps me coming back!

兴趣

I am interested in sensory overload. Food, thrills, a good massage, awesome music, laughter, throw in a beautiful sunset and you have a recipe for a pretty well spent day!

Traveling is an obsession at the moment and I cannot sit still for very long it seems. I love all forms of nature and am intrigued by human behavior so all signs point to GO!

It's hard to come by music I don't enjoy.. I'm genre-bending. I really enjoy listening to all sounds: jazz, rap, EDM, blues, pop, reggae, R&B, classical, folk, rock. I love all hispanic music and even the Buddhist monk station on the radio. I can even make room for a couple country songs..

I LOVE to read. Chuck Palahniuk makes me chuckle. As of late I'm enjoying fiction. Currently reading a Song of Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones!!!). My guilty pleasure is travel blogs. I love classics and history, current events and romance. I crave the written word in English and Spanish

Movies are awesome too. Wayyy too many movies to name. Seriously it gets overwhelming how am I supposed to watch every awesome movie that has ever been made while simultaneously reading every classic book and have the time to enjoy the sunlight? I need more hours in the day.

Getting in a car and roadtripping around the good ol' USA is something I will forever cherish. Everyone needs to see the Grand Canyon at some point in their life.
