ABOUT ME

Hello all you lovely people out there.

My name is Lisa and I am living in Vienna. After 1 year of living in Scotland and 2 years in Morocco, I decided that it was time to return home and at the moment I just enjoy being back in this wonderful city.

Currently, I am working for an international information provider holding the role of a Key Account Manager for our Italian and UK customers. My job allows me to travel a lot and work in an international environment.

However, since my background is Theatre and Performance, I have recently decided to embark on a new journey and find a job in cultural management. I have always been engaged in various theatre projects and I enjoy keeping me busy with organizing events and projects that are in some way connected to theatre and performance art. Therefore I am always happy to meet different people to share and discuss ideas and experiences.

Before and during my studies I traveled a lot, mostly around Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Morocco. To have and to take the possibility to travel is one of the most important things in my life because the experience you gain while staying abroad is not replaceable by anything else.

Even though Vienna is definitely one of the most relaxed cities in Europe, I sometimes feel the need to leave the city and explore something new. I love spending time by the ocean or going for a hike in the mountains. Also, eating good food and drinking good wine is, to me, one of life's greatest joys - especially with friends or family.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met a lot of people through couchsurfing while I have been traveling around Australia and New Zealand. A few years later I went couchsurfing in Sicily which has been one of the greatest couchsurfing experiences ever.

I mostly travel alone, therefore, it is the perfect way to meet some locals or other travelers who happen to be at the same place.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a certified German teacher - so just give me a shout if you need help with anything. and Italian. And if anyone would give me a hand to teach me some Spanish or Arabic, I would appreciate it. Moreover I want to learn how to paint! I think I do have a good knowledge and intuition when it comes to performances and texts.
