Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I met my two former housemates (in Baltimore) through CS, and it was a fantastic year together. We hosted a lot of amazing people, and I've had great surfing experiences in different parts of the country.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Started out just meeting random Couchsurfers at frozen yogurt shops and poetry readings and picnics...then I lived in a house with two other people I met through Couchsurfing! I'm still in touch with friends I've made, both hosting and surfing.
Interests
poetry, yoga, books, being barefoot, not eating meat, making music (old-time fiddle/folk & classical), CONTRADANCING, rock-climbing, teaching, acting (especially Shakespeare), crossword puzzles

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Heard Beethoven's 9th symphony performed on the side of a eucalyptus-covered mountain in San Francisco, with a pair of hawks adding their voices to the music overheard.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a writer, and I love to share my poetry, talk about books, go to readings... I play the violin and piano, love to sing, and am learning the guitar--always up for a jam session. I can also take you to a yoga class...or even give you a private lesson!
I'm always up for learning how to cook new (vegetarian) things. Feel free to experiment while you're here.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to play music together, give a yoga lesson, share/swap recipes or cook a meal together, or just sit around talking about books!
