ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in a small city called Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (middle of nowhere Canada and completely frozen in the winter where -40 is normal). After high school I travelled around for a few years to the UK, Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, Taiwan, and through North America. In 2008 I moved to Kelowna, BC, Canada to study business and to do an exchange in Europe. I went to France for a semester and then Croatia for 2011-2012. I graduated in summer 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing with some specializations in Latin languages. I’ve also studied opera for about 3 years and love to sing!! I have a few music videos out with a French producer too.

A bit more about myself...
I am addicted to traveling! I love meeting new people, sharing my home and showing people the beautiful Okanagan. I love to play guitar and sing. I love jamming with other people and making up songs. I love life and I am a passionate person with high goals- I’m looking forward to continue meeting amazing people on here now that I am home! I am from mixed European/Canadian decent English, Swedish, Scottish, Russian, and French.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed my way through Europe while I studied and met fantastic people. Once I returned to Canada I hosted travellers and showed them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been shown around in Paris, stayed in Glasgow, London, Hamburg, Prague, Milan, Rome, Venice, Zagreb, Zadar and looking forward to more amazing experiences meeting people while in Asia!

I am a diehard Beatles fan- I don't care what other people think, I know in my heart for me they are timeless and their music is the soundtrack to my life.
I love Ray Lamontange, David Grey, Crosby, Nash and the Stills, Alicia Keys, Michael Buble, Avenged Sevenfold- older albums, Kings of Leon- all albums, Cake, Carla Bruni, Coeur De Pirate, Arianne Moffat, Muse, The Beautiful girls, Bob Marley- I love house, trance, techno mixes too, and old/new as long as it is passionate and interesting.
Movies + TV- Across the universe, Apocalypto, The Secret, You Can Heal Your Life- Louise Hay, Ever After, Star Trek- Voyager and the movie, Star Wars- Jaba The Hut one, Grandmas Boy, Seinfeld, How I met Your Mother, Cake Boss, Millionaire Matchmaker, GLEE!!, cooking shows I really just like a mix of funny, smart comedies, with action and a mix of reality and fiction.
I like studying languages and music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've snorkled on the great barrier reef, rode an elephant in Thailand, speant a summer in Quebec studying French, been on the farthest point east on Canada, been in four different oceans, travelled and met amazing people, sang with a Beatles cover band, sang and played my guitar in Strawberry Fields, traveled to 21 countries...I have a billion more things to do!
