On hiatus from the rat race; exploring Europe.

ABOUT ME

Normally I live in beautiful Vancouver, BC Canada but I am spending a year in Wroclaw Poland - a chance to travel Europe a bit and just experience a different culture. Am trying not to be daunted by my lack of Polish.

I'm generally a quiet person - love reading and exploring cities (I have an urban design/urban planning background). I also love interesting conversations with nice people and learning about the world. (I especially love sarcastic people.)

When at home, I spend my free time coordinating volunteer professional photographers to take photos of shelter animals to spruce up their online profiles (www.orphananimalpics.ca). I also like to watch zombie movies and BBC period pieces. I knit and crochet, ballroom dance, and am a trained foil fencer.

That pretty much sums me up really.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
