ABOUT ME

Adventurous, courageous, and fun mom. Interested in drawing, painting, and 'Slow Food' eating our way around the world. My daughter was born in Mumbai while I was teaching Product Design. Lived in India for three years as an expat. Studied textile design in Stockholm. I love living and traveling abroad. Currently, living in Traverse City, Michigan.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others the way you want others I treat you.

Live a life you love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My home in Traverse City is open to respectful and pleasant travelers and small families who love exploring.

My four-year daughter and I in 2014 couch-surfed all over Europe for three months. We stayed with amazing families and women. We loved learning about each families diverse culture and lifestyle. In 2016, my daughter was seven 1/2 and travel for five month all over India.

In 2014, we hosted a high school student from South Korea through Rotary International. My ex-husband is a Rotarian. In 2017 - 18 I hosted a Chinese boy exchange student. Currently, for a year I am hosting a lovely eighteen-year-old female Chinese exchange student. She is lovely.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While living and traveling in India I was really impressed with travelers I met that said they were Couchsurfing. I am very impressed with individuals and families that open their home to strangers. I have couchsurfed all over Europe, few places in India, and in Detroit, Michigan. I have hosted many lovely people in my home.
