ABOUT ME
We are three sisters- only one registered formally- but we are planning to travel to Italy and heard great things about couchsurfing! We have had experience in our family of hosting a number of people from other countries: Germany(1), Spain(3). All were not relatives but some have grown to become part of our family. We are the first generation children of an immigrant father (Germany). We are proud and happy to be part of an extended adoptive family (one of us is the mother and two are tantes) of 2 girls, now 4 and 6, from China. We see ourselves as world citizens working for peace and understanding between cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We would like to find places to stay in Italy in May 2009. We would be interested in hosting people in the U.S. in our separate homes.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet formally! One of us was a Jesuit Volunteer (served in Alaska) and as such has since traveled around staying with other former volunteers in the US and abroad. One of us did a semester abroad in Spain during college. We are part of a family of 6 (having three older brothers) so we know how to squash and how to share and how to laugh and how to advocate.
