I always prefer to spend time with my guests/hosts. While travelling, I hope to see the beautiful nature your country has to offer and try some local food and activities. I look forward to the road ahead and meeting you!

Interessen

I love nature and hiking and am training my limited sport skills mainly through spinning. I love music, nowadays mainly listening rather than playing myself. :)

I value creativity, volunteering, and many other things.

I finished my bioscience engineering studies in September 2014 (Belgium) and worked as a sustainability consultant in Utrecht (the Netherlands) from 2014 until 2016. From October 2016 till August 2017 I worked as a husky handler in Alta (Norway), to escape busy life for a while. After that I started to work as a researcher in Belgium, returning to my roots.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love music! I mostly like rock, some metal, and pagan/folk. My favorite bands are Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Volbeat...

I like reading: mostly I prefer books and series about magic and fantasy (for example Harry Potter, the Sevenwaters Trilogy, 'the Hobbit, or There and Back Again', Lord of the Rings...), but I also liked many other books like the 'Tomorrow, When the War Began'-series, White Oleander...

I like movies with an intriguing storyline and a good sense of humor, preferably with a weird twist but not too scary. Some movies I really enjoyed are Inception, Interstellar, Mr. Nobody and Meet Joe Black.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Lived 9 months in the Arctic, working as a husky handler and enjoying the beautiful nature, northern lights, snow shoeing, skiing, hiking, and the company of 26 amazing Alaskan huskies.
The earth can be a startling beauty. Let's keep it that way!
