About Me

Hello!
So what about me? Completing these forms is always tricky.
Well, I am a grown up Spaniard who happened to be born in Germany, curently doing my master's degree in Maastricht and living in Cologne for my internship. I absolutely love travelling and people always tell me that I have to many bees in mu butt. I am one of those weird young people who still enjoy reading real books and forget to take my cell phone with me (havent had a heart attack yet because of not having internet for a day). I recently started running and are training for my first (half)marathon. Scuba diving and bouldern is also on my priority list. My boyfriend and I (plus the cat who is really the first lady) live in Marbella and enjoy doing lots of outdoor activities together. We also dont mind sitting on the terrace, grilling a fish and enjoying the moment with a glas of wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So heres the point, I love travelling and meeting new people, but Marbella is really a small spanish city, so couchsurfing is one of the best possibilities to meet new and stimulating people.

Interests

Traveling, photography, reading, running, playing table games and basically laugh a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The two most amazing things I have done both happened when I travelled around Nepal on my own. The first was when I went to Pokkhara (The starting point for most hikers for the Himalayas), and went paragliding. Both eagles and vultures fly with you to show the guides the hot air currents which help you glide even further up. It was absolutely brathtaking, specially since I went up early in the morning and could see the sun comming up behind the snowpeaked mountains.
The second remarkable thing I remember was when I went to the Chitwan National park, one of the few jungle parks which yoy can still enter on foot (on your own responsibility). I got to see a sloth bears and a rhinoceros which forced me and my guide to climb up trees in order to not be overrun. Moments in my life I will never forget.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a really nice house in Marbella with a guest bedroom open to almost everyone (smoking not allowed). We can show you the city and help you get around. Marbella is quite a small place but if you enjoy hiking, swimming in the sea or just walking around the old town, its a really nice place to spend a few days.
