ABOUT ME

About to finish my master in Animation (Belgium), so I'm very interested in anything to do with art. Grew up in the Netherlands, but I'm also partly English thanks to my father. I've always been interested in traveling, and have been doing long term single traveling. I love (vegetarian) food, having fun and adventure! I think couchsurfing is perfect for meeting new people, exchange experiences and be open help each other!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm pretty down to earth. Although never believed in a certain religion I'm always interested in philosophy and meditation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think we should give and take. My best travel experiences are always with couchsurfing! I love getting to know the people from the area I visit, and it makes it so much more personal. These are the most important reasons, besides that I think traveling doesn't need to be expensive. But if that's the only reason you're on couchsurfing, I disagree.

I used to work at a movie theatre, and i loved it!! I've always loved movies, and i'm into nearly every genre. These are a few of my favorites; Ghost world, Sunset blvd., Before sunrise, Dancer in the dark, The lion king, The shining, Moonrise kingdom, The graduate, Stranger than fiction, 500 days of summer, Almost famous, Clerks, The usual suspects, Mary & max, Fight club, Control, Big fish etc...

Music you'll find in my playlist is from; the Cure, Kings of Leon, the Kooks, the Beatles, the Black Keys, Nick Cave, Mac Demarco, the Pixies, the Growlers, Connan Moccasin, Metronomy, Parov Stelar, Foster the People, the Strokes, the Smiths, Franz Ferdinand, Fiona Apple, Arcade Fire, Florence and the Machine, G. Love, la Roux, Beck, Bowie, Tilly and the Wall, T-rex etc.

I like to read, but don't really have/make the time for it. I always say I'll read in the holiday but then I end up not having the time either. Into the wild, Bukowski books,.. But my true heart goes to graphic novels!!
