Overview
About Me
I used to live and work in Heidelberg from 2005 to Dec 2019. I´m a studied music therapist and studied 6 semesters of primary school teaching too. I also worked as a Montessori-Kindergarden teacher and guitar teacher.
I play guitar and I like singing and music generally takes a big part in my life. Besides I like doing sports, working with wood, gardening, eating ;-)) ...and more.
In December 2019 I left Heidelberg with my boyfriend to travel and work in New Zealand the whole year of 2020. After a short visit in Germany we spent the first months on La Palma, Canary Islands renovating a holiday-appartment area, which by now regrettably has vanished under the latest lava-streams. Like the tibetan sand-pictures...
Afterwards we intended to start another journey by bike to Greece. But we realized that we need a break and meanwhile we are building ourselves a flat in my parents-in-laws` old barn in the Bavarian Country-side of the Spessart Forrest located between Aschaffenburg and Miltenberg (Main-River). So at the moment I regrettably can`t host anyone. Though I`m always glad to get to know new friendly people. So if you are living in the area, you are welcome to send me a message ;)
cheers
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like a lot getting to know other cultures and meeting nice people with whom I can share a good time.
When I signed in at couchsurfing in 2013 I intended to travel and hitch hike more often but I didn't bring it into being so far.
Now, in 2019, I want to give it a new try :)
I'm happy to show travelers the beautiful region of Heidelberg. I as well would like to welcome couchsurfers in my home over night but as I'm living in a shared house, I have to ask my cohabitants for their agreement.
But please, go on, give it a try and ask me :)

Music, Movies, and Books
all kinds of music that pleases me. Rock, Pop, Electro, classic, "worldmusic" and more...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In summer 2019 a friend of mine and me let ourselfs float on an airbed (1,40x2m) down the Neckar river, about 8km, between Heidelberg and Mannheim. We had two small paddles with us, waterproof bags with food, beverage and music. The trip lasted 6 hours, the weather was perfect, warm and not to much sun, and when we were arriving slowly in Mannheim we watched an incredible sunset above the Neckar and the skyline of Mannheim :))
For me that was one of my decade highlights, or perhaps of my whole life.
Shortly afterwards this "friend-of-mine" became my boyfriend. I quit my job and flat and we started our big journey with traveling allover New Zealand... ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm playing the guitar for more than 20 Years now and, as I'm doing my second studies of music I have a big knowledge and experience in this field. Besides I am working as a guitar teacher with children and adults for 8 years now.
I as well like working with my own hands and doing mechanical workings. I build wooden furniture, do gardening and have a motor scooter, which I repair by myself.
I like sharing my knowlege and repairing and building stuff... :) and I'm as well happy to learn new things.
