My boyfriend Martin and I recently finished our studies at University and want to celebrate by taking a trip to some of our long-time favorite travel destinations: Japan, Korea and Thailand!

Martin graduated in Graphic and Media Design. I studied English, Sports and Pedagogy. Before starting working life next year we want to explore foreign countries and meet new people. We are cheerful, communicative and open-minded people and are looking forward to sharing times and stories with other couchsurfers!

We are both into outdoor activities (hiking, rock climbing etc.), we love food and enjoy cooking! Also we are very fond of music. Martin plays guitar in an indie band, a metal band and a folk-pop band and I sing, play the guitar and the piano.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far I have couchsurved in Ireland and England during a trip with two friends. Every stay was an amazing experience and our trip would have been so much less fun and so much less exciting if we had stayed in a hotel/hostel etc.

Couchsurfing opened up a totally new travel experience to me! One in which I don't just look at a foreign country and its sights but instead get to know its people and their lives. It also gives me a great feeling to know that there are so many friendly and welcoming people in this world!

Teach, Learn, Share

Martin could teach you how to play the guitar and how to photograph manually. I could teach and cook some of my favorite recipies. We could also teach you some German phrases and take you for a hike or on a rock climbing trip!
