Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people, talking, listening to their stories, discussing, exploring and of course TRAVELLING!
I have been lucky to make a lot of positive experiences meeting people just everywhere - in planes, trains, buses, elevators, hostels, hiking, etc.
They say "what goes around comes around" and that's what Couchsurfing means to me...
It is also about exchanges and interactions with people you possibly would never meet in your entire life.
I am so thankful for all the beautiful people I have met through CS!

I am in to almost every kind of MUSIC and I also like listening to completely new beats.
I am a MOVIES lover, even though there are still many classics I haven't watched.
I am afraid, but reading BOOKS is not my stenght. I do always travel with a book in my backpack though. I enjoy reading on quiet places like beaches for example, but I usually prefer watching and observing the people passing by... :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working and living in a favela of Rio de Janeiro/Brazil.
Working with refugees from all over the world in Geneva/Switzerland.
Travelling from Abene/Senegal to Essaouira/Maroc, crossing Gambia, Mauretania and the West-Sahara.
Going to weddings in Cosovo, Egypt, Mexico, Argentina, Germany, Switzerland, Serbia and Brazil.
Travelling from Cuba through Mexico, all the way down to Panama.
Visiting the Amazon in Brasil, Peru and Colombia.
Travelling through South East Asia and staying a month in Sri Lanka.
Doing three Vipassana 10-days silent meditation retreats - in Indonesia, Poland and Argentina.
Working on a cruise ship on the Mediterranean, Atlantic, Caribbean and Arabic Ocean, living together with over 1000 crew members from 50 different nationalities and around 3000 guests...
