I quit my job last year to travel through Mexico and Colombia.
I am a social worker and have worked as a street worker in Leipzig for the last four years. My job was to support disadvantaged people in different situations.
During my studies, I already worked a lot as a volunteer abroad. I find it easy to adapt to new situations and I have always enjoyed talking to people and being shown new perspectives.
I grew up in a small village in the north of Germany. I lived here in a house community and thus learned a lot about living together and community as a child. I moved to Leipzig for my studies and have lived there for the last 9 years. I love the city. You can find culture, concerts and clubs, but also a lot of nature. Many people are politically engaged, interested and creative.
