CURRENT MISSION
to cultivate a healthy curiosity of other cultures and lifestyles
ABOUT ME
I am newly hatching myself into the world of the couch surfer. As I look for new and authentic experiences in my life, particularly around getting more traveling into that agenda I find I am wanting to connect with people on a more basic level which can't be found in a hotel room. I am at my most inspired when practicing contact improvisation and hope to sculpt most of my traveling around finding different communities to jam with. I have been living in Seattle and around Seattle for the past 18 years, until recently mostly focusing on building up my cleaning business and raising twin boys (though they are not living with me currently). I have a small apartment with a fairly comfortable couch in the Capitol Hill neighborhood(hip and close to many sites and scenes). I also enjoy biking and have a couple extra bikes to loan out to visitors.
PHILOSOPHY
Variety is the spice of life. I'd rather be a good listener than try to get my point across. Patience is grace. I like to think of myself in service to flow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Newby...but quite a lot with friends over the years and it's always been a very positive for me. I've had a few friends of friends look me up and being that I am always up for a good story it's a great source or course. Also, good way to get traveling tips.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly documentaries and quirky independent films...I like to laugh and have my perspective tweaked. Brazilian music has long been a love of mine, also quite fond of electronica and if it's married to Brazilian, yum! Books can be anything from historical to hot new authors, to biographies to self help...though I haven't been reading as much these days --more audiobooks and podcasts to listen to while I work
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent a month dancing in Amsterdam.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been doing contact improvisation for around 25 years now...I am willing to share what I know and learn from what others have to share with me...
