About Me
Hello!
My name is Lisa and I'm a student from America. I study art and creative writing at Brown University, and I'm in love with traveling. In the past two years, I've been to Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Canada, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and China. I'm a quiet but friendly person, and I'm interested in practically anything from cultural media analysis to ancient world history. Thank you for letting me share your home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have friends who have hosted couch surfers in Nicaragua, and they're awesome. I hope I can meet new people who want to do cool stuff, while also saving a few bucks in the process. I think I've lived a relatively interesting life at my age, and I hope to keep doing so by couchsurfing.
Interests
I need a lot of time for rest and solitude but after that I'm almost down for anything.
- literature
- meditation
- reading
- jazz

Music, Movies, and Books
-music- it's a secret
-movies- American Dream, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind
-TV shows- Rick and Morty! (so so so good), Parks and Recreation
-books- I'm a literature major, I can't talk about just a few books...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 19 I went to Mexico for three weeks by myself. I also did not tell my parents.
Teach, Learn, Share
I taught English in a camp for Japanese students all summer. I believe in the freedom to make mistakes, to break rules, to learn by doing and experiencing rather than by living a simple and conventional life.
Willing to learn anything about spirituality, love, friendliness, open-mindedness.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share recommendations for art and literature, movies and TV shows. A desire for absolute freedom. Willing to switch stories about love and heartbreak.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, China, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico, Thailand
