Resumen
Sobre mí
Hi there!
About 2 years ago I had my first backpacking adventure and I’ve been hocked ever since!
I think that Couchsurfing is a really cool way to not only see the typical sightseeing attractions but also to learn the countries culture and to get to know the people there. It’s also a great way to meet new people and to make amazing friendships.
I am eager to learn and to get to know as many different cultures as intensely as I can. And I think it’s really nice to be able to do this not only through traveling but also through hosting people.
I am a very energetic and active person, so I'm always looking for the next adventure! I am friendly, very warm-hearted, optimistic and always curious about everything. Also, you'll rarely see me not smiling! :)
I am half Romanian but I grew up in Germany with my amazing family!
By the way, I don't smoke and am not much of a drinker. I try to work out every day and to eat as healthy as possible (which isn't always that easy ).
And at the moment my hair looks like the in last picture.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
Like I said, I want to get to know different cultures as intensely as possible and I like meeting new people. By just staying at hostels, one usually has a harder time to meet locals and thus doesn’t get to know the culture as well. So what is better than staying with locals or hosting foreigners?! This is THE best way and I am grateful, that platforms like Couchsurfing exist!
Also, I have experienced so much kindness and hospitality from complete strangers, I like to give that back into the world!
Not only do we feel happy when we are being kind, but kindness also usually gets passed along. So it’s always a good thing when we are kind, especially to strangers. They will appreciate it and we will feel a sense of fulfillment.
Intereses
I love absolutely everything that involves the outdoors, action, adventure, adrenaline and nature in general! I'm also into martial arts, really interested in astronomy and science and I like Marvel and Disney! I also get very excited about pretty much everything. There are so any things that I like to do and that I’d love try out!
Since last year, I’ve started getting into Van-Life. I think that sounds so great. The minimalism aspect, the idea of being able to take my home anywhere with me, the freedom, the journey of building the interior of the van, the-saving-440€-rent-aspect, being forced to work out more, because I wouldn’t have a shower in the van and the lifestyle in general that comes with it. The problem is, that I’d need money to buy the van and everything I’d need for the inside of the van. So I’ll probably have to wait till I’m done studying.
But my most important passion is to travel! Nothing makes me happier and let's me feel as free as traveling! Actually, this quote would fit really well to that: "Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer!".
Música, películas y libros
I love almost every movie and show that is produced by marvel! Of course I like genres like comedy or romance, too. Action is my favorite genre, though.
And I don’t think I’ll ever grow out of Disney movies!
Also, TED Talks, Podcasts like “Optimal Living Daily” and Apps like “Blinkist” can be really inspiring and motivating!
Algo increíble que he hecho
Uh, that is really hard to decide. I was very fortunate to have had such a great childhood! But since I have to pick one, I'd say that sky diving was one of the most incredible experiences! In fact, I loved it so much, that I'm saving up for a skydiving license!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I am learning Spanish, ASL, and how to play the guitar at the moment.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Hmm, let's see....
I used to play the flute! But if you are German, that's nothing special. Almost everyone learnt that as a child.
I am really good at math and english and I enjoy to cook and bake! :)
And of course I’ll help out with chores and all of that!
What else?
I went to high school in America and lived with a host family for one year, that's why I know their culture pretty well. Then I worked as an Au Pair for another 6 months, also in the US. I’ve been to many different counties and backpacked a lot. So I've got lots stories to share!
And of course I can teach you some German, Romanian and English! :)
