About Me
Just another soul trying to find the answers of Jorge Bucays three questions:
Who am I? Where am I going? And with whom?
Sometimes I feel like people think when you travel lots and ‘live abroad’ you are a strong, confident and steady person. Like you are not afraid of anything and you take every challenge with a smile. That’s not me at all.
And that’s okej. I like to be open about my achievements but also about my mistakes and confusions. Authenticity is very important to me. I enjoy a meeting with someone genuine who thinks different to me more than meeting someone vanilla who doesn’t have an opinion.
I’d describe myself as a feminist. What that exactly means we can discuss when we meet but just so you know if you think women should be passive and talks about periods are gross then we might not have a good time together. Also when you are defining yourself as a male you are still very aloud and welcome to be soft. Soft people are my favourite people.
Otherwise I am social but calm. Love to dance the Lindy Hop and listen to Swing and Jazz. I like to read, to write, to do music and to take walks like a grandmother.
I even have an Instagram account: spieringschwesternlisa
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve been using couchsurfing for a couple of years now and most of the time I really do enjoy it. Isn’t it such a special and beautiful situation: two strangers meeting. One of them is in her home in her daily life while the other person is in a total new context outside of her normal life. Such a lovely situation with a lot of potential.
