I am Lisa, 30 years old and back in Vienna since a year.
The year before I was on a world trip with my best friend. Together we had the BEST experiences with Cousurfing. We couch surfed all over the world - from Central America to Asia to Newsealand and the people we met couldn’t have been more nice!! We definitely had the beste adventures with Couchsurfing.
Back in Vienna I work as a nurse and finally have my own flat.
I wanna keep this profile to give travelers back what people gave me on my travels! I am happy to host people from all over the world and also wanna use this opportunity again when I travel!! Hope to find some good places again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because we want to meet new people, and especially to get to know a city through a local. First hand, hidden places and insider info.
I can live very minimalist, are grateful for a mattress, a warm shower and nice people around us.
I would like to travel as much as possible and experience many adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best and most unforgetable experiences we had was two years ago, during the outbreak of the covid pandemic.
we were traveling in malaysia. Wines in the morning it was suddenly clear that we had to return to Austria as soon as possible. But we were in the middle of a small island with a completely poor network.
Two dear travelers we had met days before were already on the mainland, we have kept in touch via whats app.
Without a hedge or anything, the two have searched us a good flight to Austria, booked the flight, paid everything. additionally booked at fwstland a room, waited there for us and received.
Such a beautiful, true example that friends on the road are unaffordable and important.
