CS app has a problem when searching for locations I guess, but I live at Guatemala city not Antigua, is better to look in an Explorer. When looking to stay at Antigua you should choose from the drop down the one that says "Antigua, Sacatepequez, Guatemala". Cheers! :)

Holstee manifesto changed my life. I'm on a self discovery journey right now and I'm trying to learn about different perspectives from different cultures all around the world.

I currently live with my partner Kevin and wish to host people to have friends around the world and maybe be able to stay with them when we travel.

I like to do a bit of everything and enjoy every day "happiness is not a goal, its a way of life", I don't like to go with the masses, I like to do research and discover things myself and know why I believe what I believe, I'm like a kid sometimes, I'm very curious about all that surrounds me. I enjoy music, nature, movies, a nice meal, a good mystery/action book and a deep long philosophical talk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel around the world, but I don't want to stay at a 5 star hotel, they are basically the same thing in different places/weather all over the world, I want to meet new and different people, so while I go on my own trip all over the world I still want to be able to meet new people from other countries with different customs and believes.
So I thought, why not host and help my traveling fellowmen? I can make new friends and maybe in the future I can visit them at their home countries, so that's why I'm hosting, I may not live in a really popular tourist destination because I live at the city but nonetheless if I can help someone who is traveling I would feel happy to do so!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I'm not a fan of reading, honestly, if I pick up a book and it catch me on the first chapter, I would definitely finish it, but it has to be really interesting, like suspense or something I've got to know the end. My favorite book is "A midsummer night´s dream" and "Angels & Demons", I enjoyed "Marching Powder" a lot too.

Movies: Unquestionably, "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" I'm a fan, I adore "Life of Pi", I always cry with "The color purple", I also like chick flicks like "A lot like love" or over the top like "2012", I really like independent movies like "Children of Heaven". One of my dreams is to make a movie!

Music: I love music, most of the time I like romantic/pop music, but I like electronic, salsa, everything except reggaeton and hardcore metal.

Food: I really like to eat all kind of food, I would say, chicken and pasta are my favorites but I really enjoy seafood too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to visit the Tikal national park, by myself. I used not to do things like go to the movies or go to a fancy restaurant alone because I thought it might be boring or what people would think of me, well, not anymore. I recently moved by my own and I discovered I enjoy being by myself and do the things I want by myself.
