I am 23 years old and try to explore as much of the world as possible. I've spend a year in Texas since when I fell in love with exploring different Countries and cultures, which became even stronger during my semester abroad in Durban (SA).
I am a very open minded and active person who loves to try new things.
Unfortunately I don’t own my own apartment yet and my flat mates don’t want to host people but as soon as I have an apartment on my own, I definitely will!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So to me this is the best option to become the best version of myself: not only by couchsurfing but by opening up. If you enclose yourself from anything new, you will just be stuck as the same person with the same opinion and you won't know what else there is in life. Through traveling I've become a much more lovable, helping, open, confident and HAPPY women.
But you know I don't learn this by walking through cities and taking pictures of pretty houses.I learn this by sleeping on somebodies sofa and talk all night with them orby meeting their friends, by actually trying to be part of a culture. And CS is one way to make this way of exploring easier.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to chart music or singer-songwriters but I'm open to anything! Lately a lot of black Music such as Rap and R'n'B found their way in my playlists,caused by my semester abroad in Africa. But no, I don't like country even though I was in Texas. One of my favorite artists is Dermot Kennedy, who is quiet unknown, but if you have time: please check his songs, he has an incredible voice.
In terms of watching movies my favorite one might be pretty woman cause it's such a classic, delightful movie I can watch tons of times. The only genre I don't really like is Action and Sci-fi.
My favorite book is probably "girl on the train" but I rarely find time to read books and if I do, often they are about nutrition, health, relaxation and those kind of things because I'm actually really interested in how your body works and how you can treat yourself mentally and physically.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is many. But all these great experiences I made in life tout me what truly makes me happy and what I strive for. And that's my most valuable experience over all.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach my traditions and language, some of my crafting skills or my workout if you're into sports... Most of my friends don't enjoy it too much though cause I promise you, you will be exhausted!
I can sure share my thought about life and cultures with you if you're open minded and interested, but if not:no worries, I won't bother you with any life lessons I learned for myself, cause really, I am not you and you think differently than me.
I'd like to learn about you and your culture, no matter what part of it. I'd like to know about your traditions, your cuisine, the nightlife, your dances, your values and whatever else you would like to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of energy! I'm not a person who can stay home all day, I need to move, experience and go out. if you need some motivation: well here I am! If not, I will just tell you about it while watching a movie after an exhausting day with some wine:) I am also very good at making breakfast which is my favorite meal actually, but watch out: if it comes to cooking, I like to burn things, haha.
