I'm an easygoing person with an open heart and mind, always ready for new adventures. When I travel, I step out of my comfort zone and embrace every opportunity to experience life in all its forms.

I love meeting new people, learning from their experiences, and discovering their way of thinking and lifestyle. I recently moved to China (just two days ago, LOL!) and I’m living a bit outside of Shanghai. Before that, I was teaching in Turkey.

My favorite way to travel is by hitchhiking and doing Workaway, as it allows me to connect with local life on a deeper level.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live a bit outside Shanghai and I'm excited to explore the city, so I’m looking to meet up with people who might be up for showing me around (and maybe even host me, since I live pretty far from downtown!

Music
I’m honestly into pretty much everything when it comes to music – it’s all about the vibe and the people around me. I love 70s, 80s, 90s, techno, hip hop, and I even hit up a hardstyle festival this year, which was insane! I can get into almost anything, as long as it’s not Schlager, metal, or Taylor Swift. Music just has to fit the mood for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I experienced the incredible hospitality of the Turkish people while hitchhiking there, both in 2019 and again in 2024. Every night, we slept under the stars, in prayer rooms, or with the locals we met along the way.

What else? Celebrating my moms bday with about 300 guests an a village in Gambia, being best friends with a street dog in Turkiye (I miss you Carabas♥️), enjoying the possibilities, life offers me…
