HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mostly surfed couches but recently I've hosted my first two couch surfers. Had a blast both ways. Also meeting CS'ers to travel with has been a great adventure so far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had some minor CS experiences back at home, but I really started to surf during my USA West Coast trip in 2013. I've been to some CS meetings and in San Francisco I met up with a fellow CS'er to travel together. We ended up road tripping together for nearly 3 weeks. Together we surfed at homes in San Francisco, Oakland, LA, San Diego and Tijuana. These experiences were the best and are definitely part of my favorite experiences. On this trip I combined couch surfing with stays at hostels - I personally think it makes a good blend.

兴趣

I think my most obvious interest is MUSIC. I can listen to it all day, like to play a few tunes for fun and work for musicians and festivals in Europe. Also, I like to read about music, just as I like to read in general.
After my West Coast trip it's safe to say traveling and adventuring are of interest as well - I can't wait to plan my next adventures. From hiking and biking, to city strolling and bar hopping, my adventuring interests are broad.

I am into bands, varying from big pop/rock, to obscure underground.

At this moment I'm more into TV series than movies. My favorites today are Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy. I had my share of Friends and the Big Bang theory episodes as well.

Books. I love reading but somehow I hardly find time for it! My to-read pile is steadily growing. Last read: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey.

Ocean kayaking in Tofino (Vancouver Island) was definitely an experience that I'll never forget.
