About Me

A world citizen who loves to meet new and diferent people. My dream is to don´t stop traveling, it´s the reason I wake up every morning, and why I work so hard to build myself.

I teach myself on fields like Photography, Psycology, Entrepreneurship, Self-Improvement and Philosophy. Probably, you will find me anytime just being behind the shadow of a tree, with a book on my hands.

I´m not a religion person, but my philosophy of life has been influenced a lot by Budhism and Stoic´s writings. I believe that in some way, everything is conected, that´s why I love nature and I respect every living being of this world (I´m vegetarian).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whenever I look back to the places I have traveled, the first thing I remember is not a place, a spot; it´s a moment, a conversation, a look into the eyes of a person, infinite hugs, deep tears of goodbye...

When you share, you receive. When you give, you are giving to yourself the chance of help other human being, and that´s probably one of the main goals of our ephimeral existence.

I´m graceful to all these people on Germany, Israel, Egypt, Romania, etc, who with their huge kindness decided to give me food and a place to sleep. That´s the reason I created a profile on this website. I love humans, and their ability of push their limits to the sky, showing that our world is not as bad as some people say. I´m gonna keep looking for these kind of souls in order to learn, share and grow together.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pink Floyd directly saved my life. In the hardest time of my existence, when life shows you -the dark side- of its living, the songs of this band show me that there are pure and beautiful things. I will alwaya remember those nights, laid on the green grass, looking to the stars, and hearing the riffs on "Shine on your crazy diamond". Magic.

Keeping on music, I also like Alt-j, Led Zepellin, System of a Down, Linkin Park, The Beatles, Radiohead, Nirvana... For parties, I freaking love Psytrance !

About films, I love those movies who have a strong narrative and conversations, and those who blow your mind(The Tree of Life, The man from earth, The butterflie effect..). That´s the reason I consider Christopher Nolan one of the best directors of this age. As an amateur photographer, I really like Stanley Kubrick´s movies, I analyze every scene of his movies and wow, he was such a genius.

Books. I would need to write an essay to express what I feel about them!, but to sum up, I´m going to say, that I owe my freedom to books. They have killed every bad judgement I had ever have, they have opened mental doors that I would never imagine they exist. They gave me the courage to fight against my demons and go for what I want.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spend a lot of time helping an environment organitation (GreenPeace), I have jumped under a bridge, I have read more than 300 books during my life...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you some basics in photography, and how the eyes work (why you like a picture or you hate it, for example).
Anyway, what I most love to teach is the ancient art of meditation. I do it twice every day, at the sunrise and at the sunset and the practice of this skill have made me grow a lot.

The zen tradition says that the mind is like a lake with waves. During this time, you cannot see the background, but when the waves stop, you can, and suddenly, you will see the treasure that the lake was hidding.
The waves here are our no-stopping thoughts. Most of them, are useless, is what budhism names ´the monkey mind´. If you learn to control this (through meditation), you will learn how to use the potential of your creative and logical mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My honest spirit will be so graceful with the people I met on the road, and with the one who accept to host me. I will love to share with them, some of my native country dishes (paella, tortilla...), some crazy stories happened on my travels, but what you will have most, is like a I use to name ´heart-to-heart conversations´.

When the deepest thoughts, feelings are available to see through the eyes, everything else doesn´t matter. I love to know humans in their real nature, which is when they open their heart and mind . And if these kind of conversations are around nature, what else do we need more? :)
