Overview
About Me
Hej! ☀️ My name is Lisa, I'm 26 years old and from Bremen. I'm studying digital media at an art university, where I'm soon starting to work on my Bachelor project and thesis. I have two cats and am living with a wonderful roommate. I'm interested in media theory, philosophy and understanding more about how us humans work (and ideally live) within our (imo sometimes rather ridiculous) idea of society. I'm part of an autonomous internet radio station, I was part of university politics at my department for 4 years and am very keen on working collectively rather than individuals on projects. For me that's what's studying (and living) is about and I'm very nervously observing the hyper individualism our society is heading towards.
An interesting thing to add might be that I'm on a mostly vegetarian diet. I sometimes (rarely) eat fish, and almost never eat meat. I don't have any problem, if others do, though, I'm not the one to tell anyone what to eat, you do you! 🧡 (and also there's only so much you can do if billionaires take their private jet to get to a yacht party. 🌝)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm an outgoing and open minded person when I'm feeling extroverted, though I do have a tendency to a bit of anxiety in some circumstances. I love to learn more about different approaches to live and truly think it's the best way to understand more about this world and ourselves as the most influential species on this planet to get to know people with other backgrounds, ideas and values. Though there are some non negotiables for sure. For me there is no place whatsoever for racism, animal cruelty, sexism, or any other form of discrimination or malice.
Interests
I have two cats, Bank and Tommy, that I adore and love and cuddle in every free minute I have. I have a garden (not near my house, unfortunately) where I'm building stuff, like fences, beds, maybe soon a greenhouse and growing vegetables as well as just creating a space where my friends and I can enjoy some spring/summer days.
I'm into yoga more for an improvement on physical and mental health. Oh, and I'm reading a lot recently, mostly novels, also scientific stuff and/or philosophical essays.
