Hi Guys,
my name is Lisa and i'm a 23 year old student from Cologne, Germany.
I'm studying textile management in Mönchengladbach (close to Cologne) in the 5th semester now and i love to use my holidays between the terms to travel around the world, experience different countries with foreign people and cultures.

To realize my travel plans i have a parttime-job on the fare in Cologne. Working on the fare is a nice ability to meet people from all over the world and to practise my english skills.

I would say i'm an openminded, friendly, fun-loving, thankful but principally positiv thinking person.
Sometimes i'm a bit impatient and i'm pretty bad in making decisions. Sometimes it takes me days to decide whether i like the blue or the green shirt better:D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing gives me the chance to meet a lot of nice people, to make use of their hospitility and spend a great time together.
When i'm off to see the world i won't like to stay in five-star-hotels and just see the places crawling with tourists. I'd prefer to get insider tips of places i really would love to see..places that are unique and rare. And the most important point is that i'd love to feel the culture and become part of the residents live.

Interests

I love warm summer nights, dancing and going out for dinner or just having some drinks with friends..just making the most out of my time.
Besides i do sports, read books, watch series and i like cooking and baking a lot.
In summer i appreciate having breakfast with my flatmates at our balcony, just as enjoing the quietness of the backyard with a glass of wine all night.

Music, Movies, and Books

A mix of hip-hop, elektro, minimal and indie is what i prefer. It always depends on my mood and the ambiance, whether i want to dance, relax or

Movies are great! There is no speacial genre that i affect. But it should better not be fanatasy..whereas a good coverage is always welcome.
Sometimes in the evenings im watching series. My favorite one is True Detecive with Matthew McConaughey. Otherones would be Weeds and Fargo.

Reading is also a nice activity to zone out. Crime thriller and novels are my favorite books. Besides i like magazines about travelling and food.
