Overview
About Me
I am Lisa from Germany. I grew up in a little city near Cologne and Bonn in Germany. After 13 years of school I decided to do something else for one year before going to college. I really wanted to travel a lot but also get paid. Since my mother and my sister did it, I decided to become an Aupair in America and lived in Arlington, Virginia for 13 month, I am a very flexible, open-minded, spontanious person, I can easily jump right into any given situation and make the best out of it. Another reason for this adventure as an Aupair is trying to find out what I really want to do and where I belong to. That means I try to see as many places as possible, get to know people from all over the world and experience a lot. And in the end I want to have fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I decided to join Couchsurfing to travel and to have a place to stay. Also I love to meet new people from all over the world, spend time with them and make friends. When I decided to live in America I wanted to get to know the culture and the people. I think it's a great opportunity to stay at somebodys house and spend time with this person to learn about the people. It's so much better than checking in to a Hotel and not getting the experience that you would get as a guest.
Interests
My interests are mostly travel, exercise and education. I'd love to see a lot of different places and people. I really like sports because it is the best way to get away from daily stress. It is a great way to forget what is going on in your life for a little bit and you move your body in different ways. I like to study new languages, cultures and people. I am always willing to learn something new and that's why one of my greatest interests is education.
