Heeeey people!

My name is Lisbeth, I am 25, and I live in Copenhagen.
I love life, sunshine and travelling.
I am currently taking a break from university and travelling South America. After 3 years in university I needed to escape and reexplore the travelling life.

I love walking barefoot and having my hair loose. I want to embrace life, opportunities and all the people I meet.

As a person I would characterise myself as smiling, openminded and maybe a little crazy. I love trying out new stuff and challange myself. I want to do as much (stupid) stuff before I get old, wise and boring enough to not do it.
I love having long conversations about everything and nothing, I love dancing and I am always up for a good party.
Meeting new people is the best thing I know, and I find different cultures and views on life super interesting.

My laugh is a little too loud, my ideas are a little too crazy and I tend to get a little too drunk at times. Sometimes I think too little, sometimes I think too much (about life, the universe, the world, psychology, people, relations........). I always worry too little and I always get too excited about random things.

My passion in life is travelling, and I do it as much as possible. I need to explore, discover and expecience to feel free and alive.
Also, I am a big fan of the outdoors! ... And food.

If you can teach me a new board game, I will love you forever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy hosting and surfing. When I cannot go travelling, I enjoy the travellers to come to my home and share the magic!

I love the CS spirit. I only had good experiences, and I think it is great to meet people with the same life philosophy. Here I met many new friends and I am very thankful for that. CS is also the reason why I met my sweet, Californian boyfriend :-)
CS is a great community, and I am truly thankful for having it in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. Every situation is different and needs different music. Most favourite is quiet guitar playing, ska, balkan, african and latin.

I do not like spending much time in front of a screen, so I do not watch many movies. When I am alone, I only watch documentaries. Therefore, never ask me about actors, Oscars and so on. I have no knowledge about this kind of stuff :-D However, I enjoy watching a good movie. Maybe my host or surfer can show me some good stuff?

My favourite book is Shantaram! Amazing book. I enjoyed every page! I love reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing and life changing experience for me is the half year when I travelled solo in Asia. Before that time I did not have many travel experiences, and I did not know if travelling was anything for me.

The six months totally changed my life, and I can with 100 % certainty say that when I came home I was a changed, happier and better person.

Now I alway encourage people to start discovering themselves and the world by travelling solo.
