Exploring the deapth of cultures - Exchange with my school allowed me to experience living with a family of another culture, showing me their way of doing things and opening up their homes.
It was a great experience that opened up my mind in many ways. I found the pleasures of getting to know more than just the surface culture. Knowing there is more to a country and a people than what you can learn from food and landmarks makes it had going some where without getting the same connection.

[I have lived at a boarding school while doing the IB (international high school). I really appreciated this opportunity to meet and live with people from many different places and cultures. It has without doubt developed me as person.]

兴趣

*Art & Creativity - jewllery, painting ect.. I resumed crotheting almost two years ago now and I mainly work on squids for premature babies at the hospitals (donations through an organisation)

*Cooking & baking - food, bread, cakes and desserts (I am vegan - so very much into the wonderers of food without animal products, which I find amazing and would like to share with you if you host me and would like to try!)

*Voluntary work - I have been very active within the Red Cross Youth in the area where I used to live. Took up the challenge of being the chair of the local counsil after some time as volunteer in the food club (cooking and playing with vulnerable children) and being the financial manager. I find it intriguing, yet nerve-racking to be a leader of a departementet in such an amazing organisation (yes, I am biased, but one can't deny that helping children is a bad thing). Now I look to help out where needed.

*Walking & Yoga - I am not at all madly in love with sports, and medical conditions keep me from trying, but something I have found love in is the magic of walking (especially in nature, woods or near water) and doing yoga.

*Books: "Eat, Pray, Love", "Way of the Peaceful Warrior", basically everything by Malcolm Gladwell, cook books (I love being inspired by recipes and pretty pictures although I tend to do more free style when actually cooking)
