Traveling across the US from Portland, OR to Vermont - Summer 2017

ABOUT Lise and Zeina (for previous travels):

We're 31 years old. We cannot live a day without music or without laughter. We travel together like sisters and love meeting new people around the world who will make us laugh, dance and sing. We've travelled on both coasts of the United States and discovered the land of Blues and Country Music during a 3-months road trip : the South! We met and interviewed musicians for field research in American Studies in 2010.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We first couchsurfed in september 2010 for our road trip down the south of the US, and since then we only met amazing people. Our road trip was very special thanks to CS and now it's hard to think about another way of traveling!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Zeina interviewed Pete Seeger.
Lise went to Thailand, the Algerian Desert and Cuba.
Zeina went to Salvation Mountain, in the desert of California.
Lise watched the sunrise over the Grand Canyon and the sunset on a volcano in Reunion Island.
Zeina went to China and climbed the Great Wall.
Lise went paragliding. More than once.
Together we went to NYC and were there for Obama's inauguration in 2009. We walked from Brooklyn to Manhattan on a snowy Brooklyn Bridge. That was cold.
We went to Christi Island, in Crete, in August. That was hot.
