Hi! I’m Lise, 28 years old and grew up in The Netherlands. I started a long term travel journey in November and I’m very excited about meeting new people and discovering new places. Before I left I was working as a youthworker, what I really loved. But I’m also very happy I can have this period of complete freedom in my life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing a couple of years ago, but did not really use the platform. I upgraded my profile really recent and I would like to meet new people through this way. I would like to sleep at couches and spent some time together, but I would also like to meet people during the day and explore a bit of local life.

And I really hope I can return this favor later in life ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the most kind of music, especially indie summer vibes and easy listening music. My best music list on Spotify is Discovery Weekly, with every week new music in the same vibe. I think I prefer music over movies and books, but I can also enjoy this very much!

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m on this journey to see more of the world, but also to explore other cultures. So I like to learn about local life, local food and see hidden gems, which you will never find as a tourist. I like to listen to the stories of people and I also like to share my own story and tell about my experiences. I’m very open for a lot of things and I know every new person you meet in life can bring you something different.

I would love to cook together, have drinks, play a game or do something creative.
