About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seize the day, discover the world, enjoy the journey!

ABOUT ME

I'm a French-Canadian from a town not far from Montréal, Quebec. I studied hard in my early years, first in theatre which was a lot of fun, and then in Marketing Communications at Sherbrooke University. I spent 1 semestre in California at Cal State San Bernardino and backpacked in Mexico during that period.

After my graduation, I headed Down Under to live in Australia for one year. I absolutely love travels, food, culture and great outdoors!

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is not a destination but a journey where every moment has to be seized!

"In the end, these are the stories that define you. The times in your life when you step out of your comfort zone and try to see what the world has to offer. That is what traveling is all about, finding forever by doing something in life that is worth remembering"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to join the couchsurfing community in order to find accommodation and friends on my journey. The best way to discover the world is by meeting the locals and sharing experiences with other travelers. I also want to be able to bring a bit of my travel life back home by hosting people in Montréal and show them a bit of my country. My life feels incomplete if I'm not surrounded by travelers! =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started traveling in backpackers' hostels through California, Mexico and Australia. On my way I met amazing friends and that's how my own "couch surfing" experience started, hosting friends from overseas and visiting them during my own trips.

I now want to experience this community for the first time and extend my experiences through the next years, meeting new people and discovering new cities!

Interests

Love to cook, enjoy good wines and nights out. I love beaches and mountains in warm and sunny destinations. I pratice rock climbing, yoga, kayak, billiard and golf. I'd like to surf more, scuba dive a lot and try hang gliding! I'm always keen for new adventures, as well as quiet nights discussing arround a good meal or watching movies! I love to try different things and to share experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Despite my studies' curriculum, I'm not a big reader... But I absolutely love movies, theater and arts of every kind! I'm not a music-maniac but I definetly listen to anything from Rock, techno or pop to jazz! Music puts sun in my rainy days and makes me dance all night!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dove into the Great Barrier Reef, swam into cenotes, met giant sea turtles and surfed with dolphins. I've kissed a koala, jumped down a 50m tower, sailed the pacific, slept in a Tepee and ran on White Heaven beach. I've visited a concentration camp, driven through the dunes of the largest sand Island in the World, explored a gold mine and escaped Alcatraz.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting (which can be anything from your house to your bitter old resentments) and set out on a truth-seeking journey (either externally or internally), and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue, and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher, and if you are prepared - most of all - to face (and forgive) some very difficult realities about yourself….then truth will not be withheld from you.
"The Physics of The Quest" Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat Pray Love.

We can all teach each other how to be happy, enjoy life and live in peace with our own decisions, destiny and experiences!
