CURRENT MISSION
Studying in Barcelona for the fall semester.
NOTE: I will be in Barcelona until February 2016 and until that time I am not able to host anyone or meet anyone in the Netherlands.

ABOUT ME
I am a 24-years old girl from Gouda, Holland.
There are so many small and big things I enjoy in life, but traveling is one of the things I love to do most! I wish to see new places, meet new people and learn about other people and their cultures as much as I can.

I love sports such as dancing, playing football/soccer and boardsports like surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarden even though I'm not very good at it yet;). I also like all kinds of art, music, cooking and ofcourse eating, I would love to learn other country dishes.

Extremely busy touristic spots are not my favorite places to see. Instead, I can be touched by a nice walk and talk in the fresh air or a small picknick with a stunning view!

PHILOSOPHY
For every door that closes, another door will open. Don't keep staring at the closed door, then you'll never see the one that just opened.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by hosting, surfing couches and by showing anyone around the city or other cities in Holland if I have the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing football on the beach everyday for almost six weeks (untill my football was completely flat) with the little children who lived on the beach in Bali.

Teach, Learn, Share

During my stay in Barcelona I hope to improve my Spanish skills. I can teach English and Dutch (for whoever wants to learn it) and I can teach you some of my best recipes.
