About Me

I love traveling, specially meeting people who travel, you really get this family feeling for some hours, you get life lessons and so many lifetime memories. I do enjoy having cultural shocks, learning about different ways of living, and finding always those similitudes to my life or culture. And at the end I love traveling because every time I discovered a new place I win a new favorite place and I feel in love more of this planet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I was teenager I dreamed about traveling to other countries but budget was not enough so I had to apply to an exchange program at university to fly to USA ( which was not exactly my dream but the opportunity was there) and once I got this multicultural experienced I made everything to travel abroad at least once a year and in my Mexico as much as I have long weekends. I have travel to latin America, some cities of USA, in Asia and now that I live in France I have traveled here a bit. So I am looking forward to visit another country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travel 2 years ago to Thailand. A travel that I wanted to do since teenager.
Once I got into the airport of Bangkok after 23 hours of flying ... I had problems with the visa and I ended up staying the whole night inside of a room no windows with thai migration security- guys wearing flip-flops watching cartoons who could not speak English. ( Yes, I cried!, I though I was going to jail. =/.
After I would say 10 hours at the airport, they propose to fly to Laos to get visas, etc. Not even after a day in Laos, I had a moto accident. I think I was so tired and overwhelmed that it just got worse. Hospitals are not really nice place to visit.
Thanks to this nice adventure, I meet my husband. He is french, I am mexican, we meet in Laos. Destiny. =)
