Overview
About Me
I'm a singer-songwriter traveling around the world on tour, by thumb, by foot, or by playing in every little pub or street corner along the way.
For the past few years, I've been playing around The Netherlands and Europe and I finished a tour in Tasmania and mainland Australia in 2016. You can listen to my music on Spotify and iTunes (search for Lisette Lowe).
I'm currently a liberal arts student in Maastricht and work as a self-employed photographer and translator on the side.
I'm now in the US and have been thru hiking and exploring before studying abroad in Seattle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like couches and people and their stories. My favourite way of learning about the world is having real life contact with the lovely people on it. Whether it's hitchhiking, couchsurfing, volunteering or just starting a conversation. While I'm still young (and poor) enough to vagabond all around the world, I want to learn as much as I can about all the possible ways to live life - mainstream or alternative.
If you'd like to stay with me, please let me know that you've read my profile and tell me something about yourself. I'd like to know who I'm hosting and appreciate it if you took the time to write a personal request. Also, I'm not a non-stop party person and often go to bed early and rise early. For that reason, I'd really like for couchsurfers to be responsible considerate and take good care of the house and everyone who lives here. That's also the kind of couchsurfer I like to be myself :)
Interests
I love through hiking, trail running, climbing, snowboarding, surfing; anything that gets me into the mountains or the ocean, but I also love a good board games night. I'm an avid meditator and always curious and keen to learn.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some guitar and share my favourite vegan recipes with you, or shoot some awesome new profile photo material. If I'm hosting, I can show you around the most beautiful parts of town and the gorgeous nearby forest where I regularly go running.
