Outdoorsy and generally quite positive. Trying to learn to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures. For me these are nature, good food and quality friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Karma works. Some experiences in life are hard but they teach you to get out there and do something scary. If you not feeling something then your probably not living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was host for quite some time but currently moving house so I can't offer right now. I also don't mind sharing some local knowledge for people who travel with care.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Rookie. Informal surfing. Always staying on couches and lending mine (or my swag - the australian alternative)

If it's outdoors I'm interested, even when it's cold or raining. Surfing, anything in the ocean or up high. I like to longboard and ride my mountain bike through the local tracks. Getting better at cooking and growing my own food. Travelling and meeting people who aren't from my own country. Hanging out with animals.

Open to all musicalities not a fan of horror movies. Have a tendency to keep book for the sake of having them. Almost always have a book in my bed. Rather pass them on than trade.

Shaving my head. It taught me a lot about how people treat each other based on looks.

I have a childlike perspective of the world so it tends to be infectious. I have a tendency to get excited about the little things.
I could learn more about different cultures and more about deeper awareness...meditation etc

My general pizzaz. People seem to enjoy our chats. I talk about joy for work so I guess it's my thing. I'm not the greatest cook but if I can access some good produce I'll definitely bring it along (especially if coming direct from my home)
