About Me

Hi, my name is Lisiane and I'm 21. I'm studying anthropology and I took a gap year to travel in south America. This area is a dream for me who's always looking for hiking that would full my heart with landscapes.

🌶️ I'm currently travelling alone in South America, starting with Chile which is an amazing country, all the colors, the diversity, the warmth of people... I cannot wait to discover more about its culture!

I'm currently learning Spanish, I won't go home until I'm fluent ahah 😁

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If I chose to apply on this site, it is because I heard many good opinions about it. Actually, I'm a student without a regular wage, but I refuse to believe that money can be a barrier to travel. This fact, I think Couchsurfing is a great platform. It provides the abilities not only to see the world, but to share this experience with people that you would never meet without this.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love every types of music. But, mostly, I'm listening to metal and classic rock music.
My favorite director is Stanley Kubrick (I cannot laugh more than when I watch Doc Strangelove). On of my favorite movie(s) will be the trilogy of The Lord Of The Rings. I love everything about thoses movies, the atmosphere, the fantaisy, the dream and at the same time the rough reality of life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to exchange with people, to learn about places that aren't on a typical guide book, to create something more than the destination. I do believe that the most important thing in travelling isn't the destination but the journey.
