ABOUT ME

Heya! I'm an environmental engineer from Finland. Just graduated, so it is really weird to say that I AM an engineer..WOW. At the moment I am enjoying a little bit of freedom before heading to the real world. Doing this by getting to know the world.

Because I am an environmental engineer I say in my profile that I want to save a part of it. Together with all of you guys!

Anyways, I love to travel, meet new people and explore new cultures. At my freetime (which I didn't have much while studying) I read, do handcrafts, watch series (Buffy, Grey, DHW, True Blood...), meet friends, do sports such as sailing and walking. I'm easygoing, tolerant, open minded, loud laugher.

Live and let live.

But do it so that you don't harm other people and nature. Or try to always harm as little as possible.

Don't go through life without thinking about it.

Also think what is the impact of your actions.

I don't want to go into extremes though, this is how fanatic actions start, which can end up bad..

Still what ever you do, do it with whole of your hearth!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to help travellers not just in finding a place to sleep but also to understand different cultures and ways of thinking.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few places in Russia (Arhaengelsk and Nishny Novgorod) and in Norway and Amsterdam, now a few places here in Souht-America (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile). Must say that gained something in each place.Looking forward to getting more :)

Interests

Sailing, cultures, organisations such as Unicef, Red Cross, Amnesty, Un techo para mi pais. Making the world a better place!

Movies, series, music although for the latter I have too little time. As if I listen to music, I really listen to it, and it can be hard to do anything else :D We are currently planning to start a band with my friends. Haha, only problems is that I hardly play anything :D:D But hey, we'll give it a try. It's all fun right?! (or maybe not for the neighbours, haha).

Gone with the wind is an amazing book. I have too little time to read though..too bad.

Thelma and Louise,Dancer in the Dark, American History X, Being John Malkovich, Edward scissor hands,Frida, Girl Interrupted, Goodfellas. And liked Love Actually, hah and not shamed to admit that ..I must say that I'm also fan of the Batman movies ;O And I LOVE Buffy the Vampire Slayer and True Blood. I am a fan of vampire stuff, have been since age 5 or something :D I know, I´m weird.. But must say that this Twilight thing puzzles me a bit..
