Hello the world!

Lison and Thomas, nice to meet you :) Very social and easy going couple, who like meet new people and learn from them. We're open minded and enjoy good things, especially yummy food and good music. How can people live without this two happiness machines ?

We left France after my studies (Lison) to travelling, learn english and just enjoy new experiences out of our confort zone. I studied social anthropology and I’m always excited about discover new ways of thinking and see the world. So, more than happy to share good discussions on various subjects. Thomas, my partner is passionated about nature and animals (especially dogs and reptiles), and after our road trip throughout the Australia west coast, we’ve got heaps of incredible stories to tell ;)

We like as well partying, listening live music and enjoy life! Actually we’ve got a very simple motto and it is : try to be happy as strong as you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a very new experience for us, which has been inspired by the six month we spent doing Helpx in a farm, near Adélaïde. We lived with an australian couple, helping them with various farm works and it was a step in our trip we won’t forget! First cause our hosts are now very good friends, and as well cause this way to travel enabled us to really get into ausie culture sharing the everyday life of locals.

What we like first in travelling is meeting people that we probably wouldn't met in our everyday life in France, and learn from them. At the end, people than you met in a trip are what you remember first when back at home. Couchsurfing is one more opportunity to create links so let’s try !

Music, Movies, and Books

Quite hard to talk about my favorite music as I'm crazy about it. I listen all kind of : electronic, Disco, R'n'B, Pop, Soul etc... From old sounds to new artists, I like to discover new things that I'm not use to listen, which stand out of the beaten tracks. Digging music is one of my favorite activity on rainy days :) In a general way I'm interested in culture, always open-minded concerning music, movies, books, and art in general.
