About Me
ABOUT ME
i have lived (studies/work)in and travelled through different countries and seem to not be able to stay at one place for a long term :)
my educational background is architecture and business administration, main work experience as architect and logistician in the field of humanitarian aid. my "profession at heart" however remains something for me to still find out.
how i got to couchsurfing.com:
i read about it years ago in a german newspaper . i consider myself a cosmopolitan looking for a place to arrive at some day in the future. people make a place and well - there we are, it's mostly about the people and being on CS is one of my approaches to get in touch with the world.
for me, feeling comfortable and "at home" somewhere has its main roots in the social contacts.
with the right people around any spot in the world has the potential to be adorable.
the trigger to register at couchsurfing.com was a trip to peru for three weeks in october 09 together with a friend. finally we didn't meet up with CS'ers, but i hosted instead a few travellers at my place in amsterdam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"...detours broaden one's horizon"
i have done and seen countless things that were amazing to me - life's a journey.
Teach, Learn, Share
what i want to learn - ANYTHING! anything that respects others - people, animals, nature. no cruelties, damages towards anybody/-thing.
anything that helps me to learn about myself and others, a new skill, a new view. surprise me!
what i can teach - well, i might have to pass here. i can help with a lot of things (organisational, technical, informational), but really teach something like playing an unusual instrument, walking on my hands or cooking a special dish - i couldn't name something specific right now. so let's find out what i can serve you with :)
what i definitely can share are a lot of stories and experiences i made along my path.
