ABOUT ME

I used to be such a stress head when I lived in the UK, since I hit the road in January 2006 I have found a new chilled version of me! I travelled for a few years and then last year I was hitch hiking around Australia when I got picked up by a local aussie boy who has ended up being my boyfriend and now we are having a baby!!.. we settled in Katherine for a year and have now moved to Darwin and life is good!

PHILOSOPHY

Lifes too short, we've only got one life and we need to make the most of it!

I have couchsurfed lots and people have been great.. I now hope to repay the favour!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hitchhiked around (much better than getting the bus) and have met loads of random great people, some of which I've ended up staying with.. (the most random experiences are always the best!!)

Interessi

Travelling (want to see all the world!), reading, writing (currently writing a novel), fishing, campoing, diving, new experiences.. (from white water rafting to eating kina.. I'm up for giving it a go!)

You want me to name one? only one!?
My first (and so far only) surf lesson was in the catlins, falling off the board and being surrounded with hectors dolphins was definately amazing.. and that feeling of complete exhaustion after falling off a million times and getting battered by the board!! But the exhileration of staying on the board for all of 3 seconds!)
The feeling before bungee jumping, sky diving, and canyon swinging...
I take a million photos of every sunrise and sunset.. nothings better than the quietness and stillness of watching the sunrise..
Now I'm pregnant the feeling of my baby kicking inside me is just awesome!!

Hmnn what do I know thats useful to others?! I'm a qualified teacher so I'm quite handy at helping people out and since I've got a degree in Early Childhood Studies I'm good with kids!
I am trying to learn greek?!
