ABOUT ME

I'm just a weird college kid with pretty intense wanderlust, although I've recently come to understand the beauty of family, community, and place, so I don't think I'll spend my whole life traveling. I love speaking Spanish and I love Mexico...I used to strongly dislike where I came from but I am learning that there is a lot more to understand and appreciate about it than what first meets the radical's eye.

PHILOSOPHY

Caminar Preguntando. "Walk in Questions"...or something like that. Doesn't exactly translate to English. Oh well, I prefer the Spanish language anyway. When I look around at the world I see a lot of people who have bought into a capitalist consumer lie of how life could really be. I'm hoping bit by bit we can all get together and talk about the things in life that are being forced on us that we don't agree with and do something about it. I'm going to start now, how about you?

兴趣

People, politics...politics and social movements. Reading books. Listening to music. Blah blah blah...I know. I'm not being very specific. I've met a lot of amazing people while traveling and they've taught me more about myself and the world than I ever could have learned on my own.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A year and a half ago I backpacked to ancient Incan ruins on Macchu Pichu in Peru. It was an amazing trek and the ruins are an intensely spiritual, cultural, and historical place. Amazing beatiful...definitely go if you ever have the chance.
