ABOUT ME

I'm always ready to alter course if an opportunity presents itself. I hate forced or planned group activities! I tend to be more of a "lets just go and look around" person. I fix computers but barely use them. I don't know how to play on an XBox or a PS3 which I think makes me the worst Computer type person ever. I have tried most everything I have ever wanted to, so now I think the best way to gain new experiences is to first change my perspective on people cultures and life in general. Hosting random people definitely accomplishes that goal. -update.... I'm amazed at the sheer awesomeness of human beings. I can't wait to see more.

PHILOSOPHY

The most interesting things in life are unplanned. I believe in putting myself in a position in which those things are more likely to happen. Not a lot of unplanned things happen if you spend all of your time alone in your living room.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting and meeting new people. I live a simple life and enjoy seeing other people detach from the complexities of life for a night or two. I plan on surfing for the first time this coming spring as I travel across Europe with my friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always let people stay with me, sometimes it's weeks, sometimes it's months. I rarely live alone so right now it's kind of wierd to have so much space and nothing to put in it. I have hosted people moving from across the country to friends evicted for having a puppy against their lease. (Not a good idea!) I have had as few as two people all the way to five people, two dogs, nine puppies, two cats, three households of stuff and no space ...literally!

I love travel and meeting new people(obviously). I love photography. I love to organize and improve anything. Seriously, cleaning is like crack to me.

I know its been done, but I would have to say skydiving. It's not the jumping thats hard, it's climbing out of an airplane and hanging onto its wing that got me. For a moment you say, "what was I thinking?"
