ABOUT ME

Hi there, my name is Nick Graham and I am an avid adventurer. I am constantly seeking new opportunities to see different parts of this beautiful world we live in by new and exciting means. I love going to new places and having experiences there that I cannot have anywhere else in the world. I love the outdoors, and have undertaken month long bike trips, rafting trips down whitewater rivers in the united states, camping trips, and hiked to the summit of more than a few mountains in many different places.

I also try my best to learn new languages wherever I go, and though I may be a slow learner, I will always make the effort to learn at least the basics.

Most of all I am open minded. Open minded to new experiences, new cultures, new people, and new points of view. I am excited to enrich my life by getting to know as many fun and interesting people as I can!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosphy is a modified system of Karma, taken in part from the writings of an author named Gregory David Roberts. I think if you do good, your life will eventually be influenced for the better by your constant "right-doing." Vice versa, if you choose to do bad more often than good, your life will be influenced negatively by this. These influences could come from the people you surround yourself with (good people surround themselves with other good people, bad with bad, etc) or by your job, or life events, etc etc.

I determine if something is good or bad by two questions. One, what would happen if everyone did this thing in question? Two, would it help or hinder the world from becoming a better place?

Is this what I am supposed to write here? Regardless, this is the way i look at the world

Intereses

I like traveling with good friends but I also love traveling alone because it enables me to meet so many more new people! I enjoy reading, listening to music (both live in concerts and on my ipod), and writing (whatever comes into my head). I am interested in any kind of sporting activity available to me, I prefer spending my time outdoors and with good people. My favorite sports are Soccer (for Americans) or Football (for everybody else), Snowboarding, Surfing (although its been some time as I haven't lived near the ocean for the past 6 years), Basketball, and biking.

My all time favorite experience in life (so far): Month long bike trip from Barcelona to Rome, along the coasts of Spain, France, Monaco, Italy.

My friend an I packed a tent, a camping stove, some sleeping mats and some clothes onto the back of our bikes and took off on an adventure unlike any I've ever had. I would love to give you advice if you are considering planning something like this!

I have a LOT of experience traveling in Italy, how to take advantage of italy's transportation systems, where to go, what to see, how to avoid long lines (I used to work for a tour company in Rome).

I love sharing the good books and music I find with others.

I am also an english teacher, so if you are looking for some practice or instruction on improving your english, I would be happy to give you some of my time to work on this!
