What to say.. I think it's not worth saying how much I love travelling, getting to know other people, other cultures.. Everyone on Couchsurfing does! ;)

I guess I'm just doing my best to live the life the way I would be happy. Plus I love making people around me happy too. And that's all about it really.. I find very important to truly appreciate every little in our lives, and to be grateful for what we have. Even though the circumstances don't always allow us to do what we would really love to do, it doesn't mean we cannot enjoy doing whatever we are doing. I would say I'm quite good at being able to find something positive in everything I'm doing.. Otherwise I wouldn't do it! It's just pointless wasting time doing something totally meaningless...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always loved the idea of getting to know new people and places via CS, but after long 8 years since I've signed up, I'm finally getting around to updating my profile! First step done, hurray! I didn't have to wait for my first CS experience long and loved it! :) Unfortunately (especially due to covid), it was the first one and the last one for a while.. Now when the world is slowly getting to the new normal, I would love use this platform to meet some cool people all around the world ..Also, I maybe kind of need to prove to myself I'm still not too old or comfortable to travel this way :D ..

Music, Movies, and Books

Especially music plays a huge role in my life, so if you are able to listen to anything that's just on the radio and don't really care what you listen to, we probably cannot be friends! :D ..just kidding, I don't really get it though..

I love going to concerts and the best I've ever been to were defo Guns N' Roses, Shinedown, Slash and Myles Kennedy, Kaleo, Stereophonics, Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, Australian Pink Floyd, PJ Harvey, Joss Stone, Hozier, Queens of the Stone Age.. and my most favourite Czech bands Blue Effect and Wohnout (which I've seen live about hundreds times! :D)..

Except that, I love Pearl Jam, Kasabian, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Santana, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Oasis, Jack White, Chris Cornell, Alex Clare, The Black Keys, Beth Hart, Joe Bonamassa, Dorothy, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, U2, Michael Kiwanuka.. just lots of sorts of music.. And I usually like it very loud, especially while driving! :))

Love books too, but would love to read much more.. My most favourite authors involve Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski, Haruki Murakami, John Irving, Milan Kundera.. J. K. Rowling of course too (yes, I was a typical child growing up with Harry Potter books and waiting for an owl to drop off my letter :D) ..

My absolutely most favourite movie? Into the Wild.. then Wild, Hair, Forrest Gump, Cloud Atlas, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, American Beauty, Whiplash, Dirty Dancing!!! :).. and my beloved Czech movie - Loners (I could watch it over and over again)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably taking Icefields Parkway from Banff to Jasper! Hard to describe what I felt seeing all that beauty on our way..

Also, I will never forget one night in the Navajo Nation, sitting under the bright stars, looking into the fire and listening to a Native American singing just for a couple of us.. it was one of the most magical moments I've ever experienced..

I fell in love with the South of France and settled down in Marseille. If you're in the city, we can grab a beer and I can give you some nice tips where to go in the area :)
