About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, explore and learn.

ABOUT ME

PhD student, passionate traveller and down-to-earth dreamer.

PHILOSOPHY
When nothing is sure, everything is possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2008 - Italy.
At that time I was studying in Rome. With my friend we couchsurfed Puglia region and met a number of exceptional people. Thanks to them I realized how great this project really is.

2010 - Japan.
Again an exchange student, this time in South Korea.
Long (and great) story short: CS experience that I will hardly ever forget.
Lesson learnt: I am back in Europe and offering you my sofa.

2011 - Czech Republic.
With my boyfriend we hosted a couple of travellers that re-shaped my view on the city I've been living in for years. Very refreshing. Thank you guys so much!

2012 - Malaysia.
Great time spent with the locals in Kuala Lumpur. I don't think I'd ever see the beauties of KL if I haven't met some great people via CS.

2012/13 - Japan.
One-year research student in Tokyo. When school duties allowed, I enjoyed some outstanding CS-experience in Hiroshima and Okinawa.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: love film festivals, small cinemas, watching movies when I can't sleep or just on rainy Sunday afternoons... though I never really owned a TV myself. Oh, and I do have a thing for Marcello Mastroianni, James Bond and crappy Nordic humour ;-)

Music - almost anything with talent, preferably British

Books - from Italo Calvino, Milan Kundera, Mikhail Bulgakov, Haruki Murakami to Wall Street stories and WWII history...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

honestly, I don't know how to answer this question. I've seen/done quite a lot of amazing things (that I feel unable to rank) but at the same time I hope the best moments are yet to come.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Slovenia, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Japan, Slovakia, South Korea
