About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience and understand; to forget fear and live without judgement.

ABOUT ME

Ecologist. Gypsy. Thinker. Doer.

I watched a lot of Magic School Bus as a kid. Now I LOVE science, take a lot of 'chances', and make a *few mistakes... and it's all been for the best! :)
Thanks Ms. Frizzle! and Bill Watterson - Calvin and Hobbes was / is another great influence in my life.

I have high energy and find many things exciting and enjoyable, but I love just as much, or more, to be calm and reflect.

I try to live simply and sustainably, but also with intensity. Among other things, I value individual people, the greater community and the environment.

I don't sit on the fence, however I'm often on both sides of it.

PHILOSOPHY

Without fear and distrust, there is nothing to be afraid of and everything to believe in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Haven't really had a chance to figure that one out yet... but I'm working on it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Zippo at the moment! I'm a bit new to this.

Interests

Love: Sustainability/Ideas/Perspectives/Politics/ Food/Culture/Health/Endurance/Outside/Dogs/ Music/Language/Passion/People

IF I'm drinking I also LOVE red wine and darker beers from many different breweries! But, often I am training for some type of event, and green tea is about as crazy as I get. Sometimes I put lemon in it. :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing... I have a hard time defining that. I think I take things in stride... I get the most enjoyment out of the little things, but they're really not that spectacular to read about... so I don't think I'll write about them, here... :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone takes away something different from each person they meet, but as a rule of thumb, I love to exchange bits of language.
