About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover it all

ABOUT ME

All about me. I am a person who can't say no. I will take any opportunity to enjoy life and I live for socialising. I Lived in Paris on a whim and I think it was one of the best decisions I ever made, now I am in Edinburgh and life is still just as sweet. Each day is a new experience and every day is a good day!

PHILOSOPHY

Always say yes to a decision that will change your direction.
Never regret.
Never Turn Left.
Don't consider the consequences as a reason to be negative, if it feels right do it then deal with it.
Smile
It's time to go to bed when you've fallen asleep.
Cakes are amazing.
Try to be more like a child and less like an adult.
Monkeys are incredible

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when people need it, I join in on many couch surfing gatherings. I'm always ready to help.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since joining CouchSurfing I have made best friends, collected some unforgettable experiences and seen parts of the world that I would never have experienced before. CouchSurfing is something so huge that it changes the way we see people when we travel. Each person I've met through hosting and CS meetings brings a new story to me and a new opportunity to explain that the world is not so big and it is much more welcoming than you can possibly imagine.
I read a CouchSurfers description of being hosted as entering the world of the host, being part of their life for the time they are there. This is true. No longer does travelling have to be simply a personal journey. Now it can be a community one too.

Interests

Photography and stories are my 2 passions. I love taking photographs of anything and everything, I love to tell people of the experiences I have had and the stories of others too. Story telling is definitely the travellers language :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books, anything with a comedy or philosophical leaning will interest me. Maybe you could suggest something?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled from Edinburgh to Paris for a bet. I did it in 5 days and I really enjoyed the pint of beer I won!

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn to trust more, don't worry about something until it happens.
When someone says they will do something then believe them.
I have found that most of the times I have missed out on were through the fear of the unknown. I now realise that fearing the unknown is ridiculous. We travel to discover the unknown so to fear and avoid it is a paradox. Only fear growing old, never having followed a dream.

T. E. Lawrence once wrote “All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”

Wouldn't it be sad if that wasn't true?
