ABOUT ME

My name is Josh and I love to meet new people and experience new things. I have a strong passion to see the world I haven't seen.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is always growing, but if I were to put it in a sentence I would say I think each person is equal to the sum of there experiences. I want my experiences to be friendly, trusting, understanding other people, and different cultures. I've also learned that life is short and time is fast. So why not make everyday as fun as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did some surfing and then when I got back to Canada I would host when ever I could. Loved it so much, the people are amazing. Now I'm about to start another trip Europe and would like visit new countries, meet more great people, and be a good surfer for my future potential hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first got involved with CS for a trip through Europe/UK and it has been a part of the best experiences in my life. It really brings people from around the world together and I get to be a part of that. Numerous times at a train station I've been waiting around and while talking to people would meet other couch surfers. That was a great experience because immediately I felt like part of a super friendly community were I could be on the other side of the world and have friends right beside me. Even though it's something so simple, being friendly, helping & trusting people you don't know, and expecting nothing back. Coming back to Edmonton Canada I want to share that experience here, and to show my appreciation for those great experiences cs members have given me.

Interests

I spend most of my free time working on the home, watching movies, and playing computer games. When ever I can afford to I love to travel, sometimes even when I can't afford it. One day I would love to just leave and go backpacking around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things would be the experiences I've shared with the people I've met while backpacking. My best memories are not necessarily the places I've gone but the people I've done the things with, and those are fellow backpackers.
